I am writing this review because I had the best experience dealing with this AAMCO. I called, not to set up an appointment, not as a paying customer. I called to ask questions about a truck that I bought. I was told that the truck had service history here. The truck was having an issue, and I wanted to pick their brains. I called in, One of the owners answered the phone. He was very helpful, remembered my truck and the original owner of the truck. There was no current service history after their system was updated though. He told me his father was probably the technician who worked had worked on the truck. His father was not there at the moment, but he told me he could call me later. A couple hours later, my phone rang. The father was reaching out. He told me the original owner was a good friend, and explained to me the history that he was aware of, that he could remember off the top of his head. I was extremely grateful that they took the time of day to go over all of this with me. They knew they weren't making money, but spent at least an hour on the phone to make sure all of my questions were answered. Even helping me with some of my diag questions, being as I was working on the truck myself. This entire experience stood out to me very much. I'm not used to getting this service at any shop, let alone a shop where I'm not spending any money. It shows care. Care is something you cannot replace. It's hard to find anymore. Again, I am truly grateful. If I ever had to recommend a transmission/automotive shop to anybody. AAMCO in Dover would be my top recommendation. Being a mechanic, this is a place I would send my family. Because I know they would care. Thank you guys.

We took our "new to us" Ford Expedition into AAMCO the day we purchased it, because the transmission was bad, but under warranty. The warranty company sent multiple defective transmissions to replace it. Finally they let AAMCO put their own good transmission in it. Brandon was awesome the entire time. It took over a month because of dealing with the warranty company, but AAMCO did a wonderful job the entire time and provided awesome communication! I will absolutely come back for other vehicle maintenance in the future!
